Food Pyramid

I made a new kind of dinner tonight and Josiah was certain he would not like it so he drowned it in ketchup.
After picking through it for several minutes, he randomly says "I don't like cooked beans".
I gave him a strange look and said " ohh-kayy.... There are no beans in this."
He said "I know. But when you cooked beans awhile ago I didn't like them and I puked."

I asked him several questions trying to pinpoint what he was talking about. Finally, while smiling,
I said "Josiah, you are a WEIRD child! And I am sorry to tell you that cotton candy is not on the food pyramid, it is not a vegetable and you have to eat other things" (he's been to 2 fairs in 2 weeks.....)

He looked at me funny and said "What is a FOOD pyramid??!"

I was surprised as Jessica has learned about it every year in school and always talks about it, so I asked "Haven't your teachers taught you about the food pyramid??" (sorry Cheryl and Nick......)


He replies"........no......." (long pause, thinking......)
"Is that in Egypt??"
